A collection of correspondence among several members of the Milford, Connecticut, Baldwin family. Part of the collection is arranged geographically by the location of the sender. The bulk of the correspondence was collected by Charlotte Atwater Baldwin prior to her marriage to Lewis Johnson Nettleton. Correspondents include Charlotte's parents, David and Martha (Dewitt) Baldwin, her brothers Henry and Charles, sisters-in-law Julia (Phillips) Baldwin and Emily (Nettleton) Baldwin, and various nieces and nephews. Letters discuss family matters, including Charlotte's mother's displeasure with Charlotte's choice of husband.
